This 107 dwelling development is part of the new Wellesley settlement, also known as the Aldershot Urban Expansion. Our role has been to take an incomplete and basic design and turn it into a fully compliant and buildable solution. This is primarily a PRS (Private Rental Sector) project with some Affordable Housing that includes 5-stroey blocks of apartments and semi-detached 3 storey ‘villa’ type houses. The brief is complicated by the requirement that the accommodation must be capable of switching from one form of tenure to another. The apartment blocks are concrete framed and brick clad while the houses are more traditionally constructed.
